Product Description Magura's MDR-P 6-bolt brake rotor withstands the pressure The MDR-P 6-bolt brake rotor from Magura with a two-piece design provides constant braking power, even under permanently high loads. This is achieved thanks to the patented Dovetail Interlink technology, a special interlocking of the outer and inner ring. This provides additional support on the inner ring in the event of thermal expansion of the outer ring. This means that the torque is not transmitted exclusively via the rivets, but over the entire surface, resulting in increased stiffness and direct heat dissipation under continuous load, as occurs in gravity applications. The 220 mm diameter version creates about 10% more braking power than a 203 mm model and 20% more than a 180 mm model. Critical temperatures for the lining are reached much later and the higher mass of the brake rotor reduces the risk of brake fading and reduces pad wear by 15%. The brake rotor is also optimised for e-bike use. Warning: Do not use brake rotor with center lock adapter!
