AGM Fuzion LRF TM35-640 Thermal Night Vision Fusion Camera

The FUZION LRF TM35-640 is a top-segment fusion camera featuring a 640x512 detector (12µm), a 35mm lens, and a laser rangefinder. Fusion combines thermal imaging with digital night vision, adding a new dimension to thermal imaging from the American AGM Global Vision. With this viewer, you can see beyond the limits of nature and benefit from a viewing distance of up to 1.7 kilometers. The camera includes a Dutch operating menu and is very accessible to use.

What exactly is image fusion?

"Image fusion" incorporates the latest technology, blending thermal imaging with black and white optical night vision. While the surroundings are displayed in visible light with unprecedented clarity, the warmest objects in the image are immediately visible based on their heat source. For example, you can view the trees in the forest with full detail, while the contours of a person/animal are highlighted in a striking color.

Fusion, thermal imaging, night vision, and optical imaging

The AGM Fuzion LRF is a true 4-in-1 camera. In addition to image fusion, you can also disable one of the functions. For instance, you can use only thermal imaging to easily detect people or animals without being distracted by the rest of the surroundings. In the main menu, you would then select the "detection" function instead of "jungle". You can choose from four color palettes: black hot, white hot, red hot, and full-color. If you want to see the environment only in visible light, you can also choose to use only night vision. You can use this function in all situations where there is some residual light, such as starlight, a clear sky, or distant streetlights. Finally, you can use the AGM Fuzion LRF during the day as a digital camera.

Features of the viewer

The AGM TM35-640 LRF has a 35mm lens. This provides a 2x optical magnification that you can increase up to 16x with digital zoom. The large FOV of 12.5 x 10 degrees allows you to see a large part of the surroundings. The image is projected in real-time (50hz) onto a razor-sharp 0.39" OLED display with a 1024x768 resolution. You can adjust its brightness and contrast. With manual focus, you can always sharpen the environment to your preference. The CMOS sensor, which provides the optical image, is capable of "seeing" at a wavelength of 400 to 1000nm, providing a clear image even in dark situations.

Everything you see can be captured in photos and videos. These are stored on the internal 16GB memory. You can also connect the viewer via Wi-fi, allowing you to watch live via your smartphone/tablet, control the camera remotely, and take recordings remotely. This can be done, for example, with the free T-Vision app, available for both Android and iOS.

Specifications of the laser

With the built-in laser rangefinder, you can measure distances to animals, people, and objects. The distance to the target you are focusing on is displayed on the screen. The laser beam has a range of up to 600m and an accuracy of approximately 1m. The laser has a wavelength of 905nm, is classified as Laser Safety Class 1, and is therefore eye-safe. This is the highest safety class, but it is still not recommended to look into the source or beam.

Physical characteristics

On the right side of the housing, there is a comfortable leather hand strap, so you always hold the viewer securely. Power is supplied by one 18650 battery (two rechargeable batteries and a charger are included as standard). This provides an operating time of no less than five hours, which you can extend by using the standby mode. You can also connect an external power source such as a power bank or continuous power supply. The camera is easy to carry thanks to its light weight and compact size. Thanks to its IP67 certification, the device also performs optimally in harsh weather conditions and challenging environments.
