AGM Wolf-14 NL1 Monocular Night Vision Gen2+ Green Phosphor

The AGM WOLF-14 NL1 is a mid-range monocular night vision device, featuring a Generation 2+ image intensifier tube in traditional night vision green. The Wolf-14 is a budget-friendly counterpart to the popular PVS-14 night vision devices. The night vision scope has an optical 1x magnification and a wide field of view of 42 degrees. This makes the device a very suitable replacement for the human eye in situations where you can barely or no longer see anything yourself.

The night vision scope has a Gen2+ generation image intensifier tube (IIT). The image intensifier tube displays the environment in the classic marine green image that you undoubtedly know from television. This is also called Green Phosphor. The image intensifier tube amplifies the existing residual light or ambient light thousands of times. For this reason, you can work for a long time without infrared auxiliary light, because it can convert even a minimal amount of residual light into a visual image. An IR illuminator would immediately betray your position to other people with night vision. However, if you are in a dark room without any residual light, you can simply switch on the built-in infrared illuminator (IR Illuminator). You can determine the power and size of the infrared beam yourself.

With the included head mounting set, you can use the night vision device hands-free. With the right accessories, you can also attach the device to a helmet. The scope is compact, lightweight, robust, and, of course, waterproof. With the help of one CR123A battery (included), you can use the device for up to 40 hours.

The Wolf-14 from the American AGM Global Vision can be classified in terms of quality in the mid-range of night vision devices on the commercial market. This makes it a handy, but also affordable tool for the enthusiast or semi-professional. The scope is widely applicable, for example for use during general nature observations, survival, safari, airsoft, hunting, and astronomy.

This night vision device is equipped with a residual light-intensifying image intensifier tube, so you cannot use the device during the day. The device will automatically switch off when there is too much light.
