Het Z790 Riptide WIFI moederbord is gebaseerd op de Intel Z790 chipset en ondersteunt Intel processors met een socket 1700. Hij heeft vier DDR5 DIMM slots in dual-channel werking voor maximaal 192 GB RAM. Andere kenmerken van de ASRock Z790 Riptide WIFI zijn één PCIe 5.0 x 16 slot, één PCIe 4.0 x16 slot en één PCIe 3.0 x 1 slot. Daarnaast beschikt de Z790 Riptide WIFI over 8-kanaals geluid, een 2,5 Gigabit LAN interface, acht SATA3 poorten, een Thunderbolt 4 Type-C poorten, vijf M.2 poorten, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 en een aantal USB interfaces.
