Past niet alleen in sigarettenstekkers zoals conventionele adapters, maar ook in kleine Stopcontacten (0.540.553/5; 0.540.613/7) of Dashboard stopcontacten zoals BMW door de rode kap te verwijderen (bajonetsluiting). Dankzij de schuine vorm kan hij ook tijdens het rijden in zijwaarts gemonteerde dashboard stopcontacten worden gebruikt.
