Instructions for cooling products
Protect your pet from overheating. Aqua CoolKeepers keep people and animals cool all day long!

How to use the cooling product
First, make sure you have plenty of water available to submerge the cooling product in. Then, remove the product from its packaging and hold it under water while gently kneading the Aqua CoolKeeper. The cooling crystals inside the product will absorb the cold water and retain their cooling properties for at least two days. The product will expand a little, becoming soft and comfortable. This way, you can use the product repeatedly, without ice or freezing. It is normal for the collar to feel damp after soaking. You can gently wring out the cooling product (do not squeeze too hard!). Most of the moisture will be gone after a few hours. Your pet doesn't have to wait before wearing the collar; they can put it on immediately. For best results, soak the cooling product the evening before use and then hang it to dry. This way, the product will be completely dry and filled with wonderfully cool crystals the next morning. The product can be chilled in the refrigerator (not in the freezer, just the cooling compartment), for example, if you have a long car journey ahead and it only gets really warm in the afternoon. Never apply an ice-cold product directly to your pet, as this is uncomfortable and not good for their muscles.

The cooling collar contains a reservoir of cooling crystals that, when worn, precisely covers the arteries in the neck. Because arteries are close to the skin's surface, blood flows directly past the cooling reservoir, ultimately cooling the entire body. You can compare the effect to holding your wrists under running cold water. The cooling collar can be attached to a regular collar.

Important: When the cooling product is used for the first time, it is possible for crystals to escape through the seams. During the stitching process, crystals can get caught in the stitching. This should no longer occur after the product has been submerged in water 2-3 times, allowing the crystals to fully absorb. Any released crystals can be brushed away. The crystals are not harmful to humans or animals.

Washing instructions
Should it be necessary to wash the product, please proceed as follows.
Completely dry the product, ensuring it feels as it did when you took it out of its packaging. It may take several days for the product to lose all its moisture. You can quickly hand wash the product with mild soap (but preferably without). Do not use detergent or aggressive cleaning agents! These can damage the crystals, causing them to lose their effectiveness.

Instructions for long-lasting enjoyment
If you wish to store your Aqua CoolKeeper, ensure it is completely dry first. This can take several days. You can speed up the drying process by hanging the Aqua CoolKeeper outdoors in the wind. Never store the Aqua CoolKeeper in a plastic bag or plastic container if it is still even slightly damp, as this can cause mold.

The following actions are harmful to the Aqua CoolKeeper:
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot tolerate salt water
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot tolerate petrol or diesel
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot tolerate alcohol
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot tolerate bleach or chlorine

The above substances will damage the cooling properties of the Aqua CoolKeeper.
