At around 2 bar, a balloon bike rolls wonderfully lightly and with full suspension. A normal tyre with a width of 37mm has to be pumped up rock hard to 4 bar to roll comparably well. The Big Apple is suitable for e-bikes with pedal assistance up to 25km-h. For faster e-bikes, the S-pedelecs, tyres approved up to 50 km-h are recommended.
