• Dobson Mount
• The Byomic SkyDiver 102/640 is equipped with a Dobson mount, allowing the telescope to be easily moved azimuthally (horizontally and vertically). Because the Dobson telescope only needs to be placed on a flat surface, you don't need much space and can start observing immediately. The Dobson mount also ensures that the telescope can be quickly stored away and takes up little space. The Byomic SkyDiver 102/640 features a handle integrated into the mount, making the telescope easy to carry and move.

• The Byomic Dobson Telescope SkyDiver 102/640 is a powerful and simple telescope. As soon as the telescope is placed on a flat surface, it is ready for use. Thanks to the Dobson mount, the telescope can easily move left and right, as well as up and down. Once the correct position is reached, it can be secured with the convenient locking knobs.
• Eyepieces
• Two eyepieces are included, one with a focal length of 20 mm and one with 6 mm, allowing for magnifications of 32x and 107x respectively. When using the included Barlow lens, magnifications of up to 321x can be achieved.

It is advisable to start with a low magnification and gradually increase it. If you immediately start with a high magnification (6 mm eyepiece), the results will usually not be satisfactory.

When an eyepiece with a long focal length and thus low magnification is used, the eye will capture more light, resulting in a clearer image than when a high magnification with a shorter focal length is used.

With the help of the Red Dot finder, the telescope can be easily aimed at a celestial body. When you look through the Red Dot and move the telescope so that the red dot is visible on a celestial body, you will also see it when you look through the eyepiece.
