Merchants & Barbs is the third major expansion for Catan. This expansion contains 4 variants of Catan and 5 new challenging scenarios, which can be combined in various ways with Seafarers and Cities & Knights. With the harbor master, players are rewarded with points for settlements in harbor locations. The friendly robber only robs the rich, like Robin Hood. For those who want less luck, there is the 'Events on Catan' variant, where cards replace the dice. In addition, there is a variant for playing the base game with two players.
