Cyclon Chain Keeper

The Cyclon Chain Keeper is an indispensable tool for cleaning and maintaining your road bike, mountain bike, or cyclocross bike. It should not be missing from your maintenance kit. Especially when you place the bike in a work stand and remove the rear wheel, the Chain Keeper provides plenty of space to clean the chain, derailleur pulleys, and other hard-to-reach parts of the bike. • Use the Chain Keeper in combination with the existing axle to optimally clean and maintain your drivetrain.
• Installing the Chain Keeper is simple:
• Remove the rear wheel from your bike. Pull the upper derailleur pulley backwards to create enough space to remove the wheel.
• Remove the quick release or thru-axle from the rear wheel. Slide the Chain Keeper onto the axle and put it back in position, placing the chain in the recess of the Chain Keeper. Tip: Keep an old axle and use it in combination with the Chain Keeper, so you don't have to constantly take it in and out of your wheel during cleaning.
• You now have easy access to all parts of the drivetrain to properly maintain and lubricate them. In addition, the pedals can rotate freely, and you can shift up and down while the Chain Keeper is in place.
• Reinstall your rear wheel in your bike. Again, you need to create some space by moving the upper derailleur pulley backwards. Your bike is now ready for your next ride!
