This expansion card is designed to add additional internal SATA connections to a system via a Mini PCIe slot. The Mini PCIe module is inserted into a free Mini PCIe slot with a PCI Express interface and adds two internal SATA 6 Gb/s connections. This allows internal storage devices such as SATA hard drives or SSDs to be connected. The module is based on a PCIe 2.0 interface and supports advanced SATA features for data transfer and disk management.
