Description
This adapter is designed for connecting an external display to a computer or laptop with a USB C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The adapter connects via a USB C host port and offers three video outputs: VGA, HDMI, and DVI. The adapter supports connecting one monitor at a time. It is not possible to use multiple displays simultaneously via this adapter. The adapter can also be used with systems featuring a Thunderbolt 3 connection. The HDMI output supports a maximum resolution of up to 3840 × 2160 (4K) at 30 Hz. The DVI and VGA outputs support resolutions up to 1920 × 1080 at 60 Hz, depending on the system and connected hardware. The VGA output is not wired for analog signal conversion. The adapter is bus-powered via USB and has low energy consumption. The device operates on a plug-and-play principle and can be used immediately without driver installation.
