- Glucosamine is in staat beschadigd kraakbeenweefsel te herstellen, de gewrichten van nieuwe gewrichtsvloeistof (Synovia) te voorzien en zodoende de beschadigde gewrichten weer optimaal te laten functioneren.
- Glucosamine wordt speciaal aanbevolen voor opgroeiende dieren en wordt tevens met succes toegepast bij dieren met mobiliteitsproblemen als gevolg van groeistoornissen, ziekteverschijnselen zoals H.D. of ouderdom.

- Hond: 2 gram per dag per 10 kg lichaamsgewicht
- Paard: 10 gram per dag per 100 kg lichaamsgewicht
