This saves unnecessary energy consumption. This lamp holder is only suitable for indoor use. The lamp has a motion sensor and a light sensor. The motion sensor detects movement and ensures that the lamp turns on when movement is detected. The light sensor ensures that movement is only detected when the room is dim or dark. So the lamp does not turn on if there is already enough light in the room. Place the sensor lamp on the ceiling. Then set the sensor to: Sensitivity: set whether the lamp should react to movement only at night or also during the day. Switch-off time: how long the lamp stays on after the last movement has been detected. This can be set between 5 and 100 seconds. Detection distance: adjustable up to 5 meters. What does PIR of a lamp holder mean? PIR stands for Passive Infrared Sensor. A passive infrared sensor is an electronic sensor that measures infrared light emitted by objects in its field of view. The sensor detects movement from a heat-emitting source (usually a human body).
