How to improve the lifespan of your disc brake pads: Bedding in new disc brake pads significantly extends their lifespan! Keep the brake lever lightly applied while riding, ensuring the pads touch the rotor. Ride for approximately 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake harder at the end to reduce your speed to about 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase your speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
