After installing new brake pads, it is very important to bed them in, as this extends their lifespan.
Bedding in new disc brake pads significantly extends their lifespan! Lightly pull the brake lever while riding and ensure the brake pads make contact with the brake rotor. Ride about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake a bit harder at the end to reduce your speed to approximately 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase your speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
