After installing new brake pads, it is very important to bed them in, as this extends their lifespan.
Bedding in new disc brake pads significantly extends their lifespan! Lightly apply the brake lever while riding, ensuring the pads make contact with the brake disc. Ride for approximately 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and then brake harder at the end to reduce speed to about 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase your speed while lightly braking. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
