Bedding in

How to improve the lifespan of your disc brake pads: Bedding in new disc brake pads significantly extends their lifespan! Keep the brake lever lightly pulled while riding and ensure that the brake pads touch the brake disc. Ride approximately 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake a bit harder at the end to reduce the speed to approximately 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase the speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure that your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
