Keep the brake lever lightly engaged while riding and ensure the brake pads make contact with the brake rotor. Ride for about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake harder at the end to reduce speed to about 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
