Description
BLACK OXIDE: Enduro bearings use races made from a 52100 chromium alloy and high-carbon steel, which have undergone both thermal and cryogenic treatment. This means everything is brought to a temperature of –190°C, which provides a certain hardness and thus reduces ball wear. We then give the bearing a magnetic treatment (black or Black Oxide color) which provides protection against corrosion and also facilitates easy installation. The races are further polished after treatment to ensure the smoothest possible surface. These are the best bearings for the rear suspension. LLU: Similar to our LLB type seals, the LLU is a contact seal where the double "lips" are housed in a recess of the inner ring. Guaranteeing a better seal, these seals are ideal for suspension pivots or headsets that are constantly in contact with salt, sweat, and dust. This improved sealing and the two "lips" help retain 90% of the grease we use on the bearings, thus protecting it from moisture and continuously lubricating the balls and the raceway.

Featuring MAX-type technology, this bearing offers 35-40% higher load capacity than standard radial bearings by incorporating the maximum number of balls via a custom-made race slot. The deep-groove design provides better lateral support against torsion and multi-directional forces typical of mountain bike pivots. Equipped with full-contact, double-lip labyrinth (LLU) seals and Grade 10 balls for maximum protection against dirt and water. The Black Oxide coating combined with Magnetite offers excellent corrosion resistance, while the full fill with high-pressure grease ensures smooth operation and long-lasting performance. Suitable for suspension pivots, used by brands such as Orbea, and available in various materials such as high-carbon chrome steel, stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless steel balls. The deep groove races can accommodate large balls, and the double-lip seals form a complete labyrinth seal for superior protection against the elements. Static load capacity: 573 lbf / 2.55 kN Weight: 7.72g
