ABEC 3 LLB: Our most popular seal, consisting of a rubber finish with a metal core. Unlike the standard 2RS, we go a bit further by mechanically placing a recess in the inner ring, where the seal can rotate with great efficiency and resistance to a lesser bearing. Rather than a single "lip" of a thick seal rubbing against an uneven surface, the LLB type uses 2 sealing lips, thin as a razor blade, that slide into a recess with light contact. The outer "lip" keeps water and impurities out, while the inner seal retains grease for smooth rotation and long intervals between maintenance.
