ZERO CERAMIC: Oversized Grade 3 balls roll in a polished raceway with a mirror effect after receiving a magnetic finish (Black oxide) and then a cryogenic finish for increased hardness and a longer lifespan. More durable and with even lower rolling resistance, they approach the magical "zero" resistance number for bearings. Enduro Bearings uses silicone seals that are smoother than the rubber seals used by other ceramic bearing suppliers. VV: Designed for the lowest possible friction resistance, the seal has no contact with the bearing's inner race. Given that the bearings also have an increased grease fill percentage, the grease migrates to the bottom of the recess where a hydromatic-type seal has been developed between the 2 "lips" and where the grease resides in the recess. This grease barrier keeps salt and impurities out of the bearing, all to achieve the lowest friction (grade) of all our bearings.
