ABEC 3: A standard value used to measure the tolerance of the surface of rolling bearings. There are five classes: 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9. The higher the ABEC class, the greater the precision, efficiency and speed capability, but the highest ABEC classes are not necessarily the fastest rotating components.
