Enduro Bearings S6802 LLB - 440C Stainless (Radial) - 15x24x5

STAINLESS: Enduro Bearings produces certain series of bearings made with stainless 440C steel balls. This material offers maximum corrosion resistance in all conditions. Depending on the application, Abec 3 or Abec 5 quality is used. Stainless steel balls have 20% less capacity than the 52100 steel balls used in most of our bearings, but they do offer better corrosion protection. Enduro Bearings uses a CRC marine grease in these bearings for extra protection against contamination. LLB : Our most popular seal, consisting of a rubber finish with a metal core. Unlike the standard 2RS, we go a step further by mechanically placing a notch in the inner ring, where the seal can rotate with excellent efficiency and resistance to a lesser bearing. Rather than a single "lip" of a thick seal rubbing against an uneven surface, the LLB type uses 2 sealing lips, thin as a razor blade, that slide into a notch with light contact. The outer "lip" keeps water and impurities out, while the inner seal retains grease for smooth rotation and long intervals between maintenance.
