STAINLESS: Enduro Bearings produces certain series of bearings manufactured with stainless 440C steel balls. This material offers maximum resistance to corrosion in all conditions. Depending on the application, Abec 3 or Abec 5 quality is used. Stainless steel balls have 20% less capacity than the 52100 steel balls used in most of our bearings, but they do offer better protection against corrosion. Enduro Bearings uses CRC marine grease in these bearings as extra protection against contamination. LLB: Our most popular seal, consisting of a rubber finish with a metal core. Unlike the standard 2RS, we go a bit further by mechanically placing a notch in the inner ring, where the seal can rotate with excellent efficiency and resistance compared to a lesser bearing. Rather than a single "lip" of a thick seal that rubs against an uneven surface, the LLB type uses 2 sealing lips, fine as a razor blade that slides into a notch with light contact. The outer "lip" keeps water and impurities out, while the inner seal retains the grease for smooth rotation and long maintenance intervals.
