STAINLESS: Enduro Bearings produces certain ranges of bearings manufactured with 440C stainless steel balls. This material offers maximum resistance to corrosion in all conditions. Depending on the application, Abec 3 or Abec 5 quality is used. Stainless steel balls have 20% less capacity than the 52100 steel balls used in most of our bearings, but they do offer better corrosion protection. Enduro Bearings uses a CRC marine grease in these bearings as extra protection against contamination. LLU : Similar to our LLB type seals, the LLU is a contact seal where the double "lips" house in a recess of the inner ring. Guaranteeing a better seal, these seals are ideal for suspension pivots or headsets that are constantly in contact with salt, sweat and dust. This better seal and the 2 "lips" help retain 90% of the grease we use in the bearings to protect it from moisture and to continuously lubricate the balls and the raceway.
