The sponges are handmade in Sri Lanka. The coconut must undergo a lengthy rotting process. All organic matter susceptible to rotting is subjected to this process. Only the rot-resistant coconut fiber remains and can be further processed after washing and drying. These incredibly strong fibers are used to make the scouring pads. Rinse the scouring pads thoroughly after each use and store in a dry place.
