This helmet has been tested and approved according to the European standard EN1078 - "helmets for pedal cyclists and for users of skateboards and roller skates." The helmet must be kept away from heat sources (do not leave it in the car or in any other place directly or indirectly exposed to solar radiation). High temperatures lead to the deterioration of the helmet and consequently the loss of its properties (namely the absorption of energy); this means that it falls outside any warranty from Polisport. The maximum temperature to which the helmet can be exposed is 50 °C (112 °F).

The helmet should only be cleaned with water and a soft cloth. The use or application of sprays or cleaning agents, chemical substances (including ammonia), and solvents can lead to the deterioration of the helmet's properties (and the loss of the warranty).
