Kluitman Rafal's Escape

Rafal is a Konik horse and he lives with his herd in a nature reserve in the middle of the Netherlands. It's a tough existence for the horses now that winter has arrived. There's a thick layer of snow and the animals can barely find any food. In the reserve, the Koniks are not fed, and the herd cannot leave the area to search for food. One day, the horses see no other option: they must cross the lake that forms the boundary of the reserve, hoping to find something edible on the other side. But to do so, they have to cross a snow-covered ice sheet. Rafal is afraid of the ice, but he realizes he has no other choice. Will he make it to the other side?
