Instructions for use of cooling products

Using the cooling product
First, ensure you have a sufficient amount of water available in which you can submerge the cooling product. Then remove the product from its packaging and hold it under water while gently kneading the Aqua CoolKeeper. The cooling crystals in the product will absorb the cool water and retain their cooling properties for at least two days. The product will expand slightly, becoming pleasantly soft and comfortable. This way, you can use the product repeatedly, without ice or freezing. It is normal for the collar to feel damp after soaking. You can gently wring out the cooling product (do not squeeze too hard!). Most of the moisture will be gone after a few hours. Your animal does not need to wait before wearing the collar; it can be put on immediately. For best results, you can soak the cooling product the evening before use and then hang it to dry. This way, the product will be completely dry and filled with wonderfully cool crystals the next morning. The product may be cooled in the refrigerator (not in the freezer compartment, just the regular cooling section), for example, if you have a long car journey ahead and it only gets really warm in the afternoon. Never use an ice-cold product directly on your animal; it is unpleasant and not good for their muscles.

The cooling collar contains a reservoir with cooling crystals that, when worn, precisely cover the arteries in the neck. Because arteries lie close to the skin's surface, blood flows directly past the cooling reservoir, ultimately providing cooling to the entire body. You can compare the effect to holding your wrists under running cold water. The cooling collar can be attached to a regular collar.

Washing instructions
Should it be necessary to wash the product, proceed as follows.
Completely dry the product, ensuring it feels as it did when you took it out of the packaging. It may take several days for the product to lose all its moisture. You can quickly hand wash the product with mild soap (but preferably without). Do not use detergent or aggressive cleaning agents! These will damage the crystals, causing them to lose their effectiveness.

Instructions for long-lasting enjoyment
If you want to store your Aqua CoolKeeper, make sure it is completely dry first. This can take several days. You can make the Aqua CoolKeeper dry faster by hanging it outdoors in the wind. Never store the Aqua CoolKeeper in a plastic bag or plastic container if it is still slightly damp, as this can cause mold.

The following actions are harmful to the Aqua CoolKeeper:
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot tolerate salt water
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot tolerate petrol or diesel
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot tolerate alcohol
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot tolerate bleach or chlorine

The above substances will damage the cooling properties of the Aqua CoolKeeper.
