How to use the cooling product
First, make sure you have a generous amount of water available in which you can submerge the cooling product. Then, remove the product from its packaging and hold it under water while gently kneading the Aqua CoolKeeper. The cooling crystals in the product will absorb the cool water and retain their cooling properties for at least two days. The product will expand slightly, becoming pleasantly soft and comfortable. This way, you can use the product repeatedly, without ice or freezing. It is normal for the collar to feel damp after soaking. You can gently wring out the cooling product (do not squeeze too hard!) Most of the moisture will be gone after a few hours. Your pet does not have to wait to wear the collar; they can put it on immediately. For best results, you can soak the cooling product the evening before use and then hang it to dry. This way, the product will be completely dry and filled with wonderfully cool crystals the next morning. The product can be cooled in the refrigerator (not in the freezer compartment, just the regular cooling section), for example, if you have a long car journey ahead and it won't get really hot until the afternoon. Never apply an ice-cold product directly to your pet; it is uncomfortable and not good for their muscles.

The cooling collar contains a reservoir with cooling crystals that, when worn, precisely cover the arteries in the neck. Because arteries are close to the skin's surface, blood flows directly past the cooling reservoir, ultimately cooling the entire body. You can compare the effect to holding your wrists under running cold water. The cooling collar can be attached to a regular collar.

Important: When the cooling product is used for the first time, it is possible for crystals to come out through the seams. Due to the stitching process, crystals may be caught in the seam. After submerging the product in water 2-3 times so that the crystals fully absorb water, this should no longer occur. Any loose crystals can be brushed away. The crystals are not harmful to humans or animals.

Washing instructions
If it is necessary to wash the product, proceed as follows.
Completely dry the product, ensuring it feels as it did when you took it out of its packaging. It may take several days for the product to lose all its moisture. You can quickly hand wash the product with mild soap (but preferably without). Do not use detergent or aggressive cleaning agents! These will damage the crystals, which may cause them to lose their effectiveness.

Instructions for long-lasting enjoyment
When storing your Aqua CoolKeeper, ensure it is completely dry first. This can take several days. You can speed up the drying process by hanging it outdoors in the wind. Never store the Aqua CoolKeeper in a plastic bag or container when it is still slightly damp, as this can cause mold.

The following actions are harmful to the Aqua CoolKeeper:
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot withstand salt water
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot withstand petrol or diesel
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot withstand alcohol
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot withstand bleach or chlorine

The above-mentioned substances will damage the cooling properties of the Aqua CoolKeeper.
