Hierdoor worden nieuwe SteamVR Tracking functies mogelijk voor extra precisie en bewegingsvrijheid; of in dit geval externe tracking tot 100 m² door HTC Vive basisstations. Dit ondersteunt niet alleen de inside-out tracking van de HTC Vive Cosmos, maar breidt ook de compatibiliteit en mogelijkheden uit van software dat is ontworpen voor externe tracking. Dus zwaai met een racket achter je hoofd, kruis de zwaarden - alle bewegingen onder alle hoeken zijn nu snel en soepel te maken.
