Deze F-connector (twist-on uitvoering) is bedoeld voor montage op een coaxkabel binnen een 75 Ω coaxnetwerk. De connector wordt toegepast bij satellietinstallaties, kabeltelevisie en kabelmodems. De twist-on uitvoering maakt montage mogelijk zonder krimp- of compressietang. De vergulde contacten verbeteren de overgangsweerstand en bieden extra bescherming tegen corrosie. Technische toelichting F-connector is een coaxiale RF-connector voor televisie-, satelliet- en kabelnetwerken met een standaard impedantie van 75 Ω.
