This 220-240 volt sand filter pump provides even finer cleaning than regular cartridge filters. The operation of a sand filter can be compared to the natural filtration of groundwater in the dunes. With a sand filter pump, water is powerfully pumped through the sand in the filter, which stops all impurities larger than the sand grain. Dirt, such as algae, sand, and pests, remains in the sand filter. Filtration takes place in the pump's filter tank. The sand needs to be replaced once every 3 years. The filter has a timer function, which allows you to set the time for when the pool needs to be filtered, but it can also be operated manually.
