The KMC E101 EPT chain is specially designed for e-bikes with a mid-drive motor. The chain is treated with EcoProTeQ technology (EPT), which protects it against corrosion twice as long as conventional rust protection. Each part of every chain link is separately treated with EPT, resulting in a 100% coating that offers the lowest possible degradation by water, salt, and humidity.
