In de normale dimlichtmodus bereikt de nieuwe IQ-XM van Busch + Müller een uitstekende lichtopbrengst van 120 Lux: het uitgebreide lichtveld schijnt ver, breed en homogeen - maar zoals elke koplamp die is goedgekeurd voor gebruik op de weg, heeft hij een duidelijk gedefinieerd licht/donkere grens. Het indrukken van de ergonomische stuurknop doorbreekt deze barrière: met 170 Lux schijnt het grootlicht naar boven. Enorm zicht, een belangrijk comfortpluspunt.
