In normal dipped beam mode, Busch + Müller's new IQ-XM achieves an excellent light output of 120 Lux: the extensive light field shines far, wide and homogeneously - but like any headlamp approved for road use, it has a clearly defined light/dark boundary. Pressing the ergonomic handlebar button breaks this barrier: with 170 Lux, the high beam shines upwards. Enormous visibility, an important comfort plus.
