Developed by Enduro Bearings over 20 years ago, MAX-type bearings offer 35-40% higher load capacity than standard radial bearings by utilizing a full complement of balls inserted into the race via custom-ground grooves. The deeper race grooves provide greater lateral support, better accommodating torsional forces and multi-directional loads. This ABEC-3 bearing features deep grooves, Grade 10 balls, and full-contact double-lip labyrinth (LLU) seals for maximum protection against dirt, water, and grime, while retaining 90% of the high-pressure Almagard grease inside. The double row design reduces flex in suspension linkages and doubles the contact area, ideal for the suspension pivots of brands like Pivot and Santa Cruz. Available in high-carbon chrome steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless steel balls, our bearings are designed with the deepest groove races to accommodate large balls and feature double-lip seals for superior protection against external elements.
