The XD-15 combines a hardened outer cage with silicon nitride ceramic balls, oversized in an exclusive working method that ensures a very high-quality bearing. These bearings are 5X more resistant to corrosion than 440C stainless steel balls. These bearings run with minimum resistance compared to anything we have developed to date, with oversized Grade 3 ceramic balls. LLB: Our most popular seal, consisting of a rubber finish with a metal core. Unlike the standard 2RS, we go a little further by machining a notch in the inner ring, where the seal can rotate with excellent efficiency and resistance to a lesser bearing. Rather than a single "lip" of a thick seal rubbing against an uneven surface, the LLB type uses 2 lips of seals, fine as a razor blade that glides into a notch with light contact. The outer "lip" keeps water and impurities out, while the inner seal retains the grease for smooth rotation and long intervals between maintenance.
