Description
BLACK OXIDE: Enduro bearings use races made from a 52100 chrome alloy and high-quality carbon, which has undergone thermal and cryogenic treatment. This means that everything is brought to a temperature of –190°, which creates a certain hardness and thus reduces the wear of the balls. We then give the bearing a magnetic treatment (black or Black Oxide color) which provides protection against corrosion and also allows for easy assembly. The races are further polished after treatment to ensure the smoothest possible surface. These are the best bearings for the suspension swingarm. LLU: Similar to our LLB type seals, the LLU is a contact seal where the double "lips" are housed in a recess of the inner ring. Guaranteeing a better seal, these seals are ideal for suspension pivots or headsets that are constantly in contact with salt, sweat, and dust. This improved sealing and the 2 "lips" help retain 90% of the grease we use on the bearings, thus protecting it from moisture and continuously lubricating the balls and the race.
Item number 6801LLUMAXBO EAN 810191010623 Brands Enduro Bearing height (mm) 5 Inner diameter bearing (mm) 12 Outer diameter bearing (mm) 21 Type ABEC 3 MAX BLACK OXIDE 6801 LLU MAX BO - MAX-Design Radial Suspension Bearing Improve your mountain bike performance with the 6801 LLU MAX BO bearing, developed by Enduro Bearings to withstand the demanding conditions of mountain bike pivots. Featuring a Black-Oxide finish and ABEC-3 precision, this radial suspension bearing measures 12mm x 21mm x 5mm. The innovative MAX-type design uses the maximum number of balls thanks to a custom-made groove in the races, achieving 35-40% higher load capacity than standard bearings. Deep races provide better lateral support for torsion and multi-directional forces typical of mountain biking. Equipped with full-contact double-lip labyrinth seals and Grade 10 balls, it offers maximum protection against dirt and moisture, while retaining 90% of the high-pressure Almagard oil inside for optimal lubrication. The durable Black-Oxide/Magnetite coating increases corrosion resistance and extends lifespan. Used by top brands such as Orbea, this bearing is available in high-carbon chrome steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 variants with ceramic or stainless steel balls. Our bearings feature deep groove races for large balls and double lip seals that ride in micro-grooves for superior protection against the elements. Static load 409 lbf / 1.82 kN Weight: 5.8 g
