ABEC 3: A standard value used to measure the tolerance of the surface of rolling bearings. There are five classes: 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9. The higher the ABEC class, the greater the precision, efficiency and speed capacity, but the highest ABEC classes are not necessarily the fastest rotating components. All quality manufacturers worldwide use at least ABEC 1 as standard. At Enduro, the minimum standard is ABEC 3. ABEC 3: Steel balls Grade 10. Race made of 52100 chrome alloy and high-grade carbon. Unlike the standard 2RS, we go a little further by mechanically placing a recess in the inner ring, where the seal can rotate with excellent efficiency and resistance to a lesser bearing. Rather than a single "lip" of a thick seal rubbing against an uneven surface, the LLB type uses 2 lips of seals, fine as a razor blade that slides into a recess with light contact. The outer "lip" keeps out water and impurities, while the inner seal retains the grease for smooth rotation and long intervals between maintenance.
