They are always constructed with the largest possible balls, and their double-lip seals are seated in a small recess for ultimate protection against sweat and the elements. They are 90% filled with high-pressure grease, so you don't have to wonder if there's grease inside. BLACK OXIDE: Enduro bearings use races made from 52100 chrome alloy and high-carbon steel, which have undergone thermal and cryogenic treatment. This means everything is brought to a temperature of –190°, which provides a certain hardness and thus reduces ball wear. We then give the bearing a magnetic treatment (black or Black Oxide color), which provides protection against corrosion and also makes installation easy.
