Macramé is an ancient technique where you use strong yarn or rope to tie different types of knots, which then form various patterns. You can learn how to make some of these knots with our technique videos. The activity requires almost no tools other than the macramé rope/cord, although it helps to carry out your knotting projects on a special macramé board/clipboard. At the end of a project, the ends can be unravelled and combed with a comb for a different look.
