Everywhere they were inspired by nature and noticed how their senses were sharpened by the intense colors, unfamiliar sounds, and stimulating scents. Marcel's daughters knew that their father had made cleaning products for years. One day, the youngest asked: "Why does a forest always smell so nice, and those cleaning products always smell so fake?" A simple question - but a wake-up call for Marcel. It's strange, really, that there are so few cleaning products that actually smell good. And even stranger that the 'clean' in 'cleaning products' stops at the front door. The world doesn't exactly get cleaner from most cleaning products. Surely there had to be another way... Marcel got to work - a search for natural ingredients for his own soap series: Marcel's Green Soap. At first, it was for fun, and a few bottles were made for them to use at home. But soon it got out of hand, and the soap was produced in larger quantities. Marcel found a soap factory in Utrecht that wanted to produce his products with him. And together with some friends and former colleagues, Marcel developed a wonderful line of cleaning products, a soap series, so to speak. Every soap from Marcel promises you 3 things: it smells fantastic, it cleans great, and it's 100% natural. Marcel's Green Soap is a truly Dutch startup. The goal is to make the laundry and cleaning products aisle much more sustainable. The formulation and packaging, and ultimately also the companies behind them.
