This racing version of the Ardent off-road bicycle tire is designed as a cross-country and trail tire for fast riders. The Ardent Race fills the gap between the Ikon and the Ardent, between a fast XC tire and a trail tire. The tread is medium height, the center lugs are narrow but leave enough space for good self-cleaning and are ramped for lower rolling resistance. The side knobs are angled and offset, biting into the ground on corners. This makes the Ardent Race the right tire for all-round use and on the trails.
