The natural habitat of alpacas has high sun intensity. This means they have a high need for vitamin D. Metazoa FitRight Alpaca contains sufficient vitamin D to compensate for the lack of sun exposure. In addition, the feed is rich in calcium and the pellets primarily consist of wheat, a grain that many alpacas find incredibly tasty.
