Challenging card game with relatively simple rules. Your hand cards are both buildings and currency. Each round you build 1 building (and sometimes 2 buildings) from your hand and pay the cost with other hand cards. Each building generates income in the form of cards and/or points. Slowly but surely, a city begins to form before you. Many buildings influence each other or are a prerequisite for building other buildings. This creates interesting choices and chain reactions. The player with the most points from their buildings at the end of the game is the winner. Metropolis only takes 20 minutes, making it ideal for a quick game.
