Description
The Quarter Horse is one of the oldest American breeds. The history of the Quarter Horse begins in Virginia in the early 17th century, when American colonists bought horses from the Chickasaw Indians. These wild horses were descendants of the horses brought to America by Spanish explorers. These were then crossed with imported English racehorses. These horses were very suitable for the needs of the early colonists, for everything from pulling, hauling and as a riding horse. 16.5 x 4 x 10 cm
