P ZERO Race TLR RS is de laatste toevoeging aan Pirelli's P ZERO Race racefietsbanden Made in Italy. Deze band is speciaal ontwikkeld voor racedoeleinden en is de snelste en best presterende fietsband tot nu toe. Hij beschikt over verbeteringen op alle belangrijke gebieden. Dankzij de SpeedCORE-technologie, waarvoor patent is aangevraagd, die bestaat uit een dunne luchtdichte laag rubbercompound doordrenkt met aramidedeeltjes, kan de karkasstructuur en de algehele dikte lichter gemaakt worden, wat resulteerde in een verdere vermindering van de rolweerstand. De SmartEVO-compound is verbeterd wat betreft snelheid en grip door Pirelli's nieuwe Made in Italy-productieproces, waardoor de handlingprecisie en controle nog verder worden vergroot, zowel in droge als natte omstandigheden. Een nieuw TLR ontwerp zorgt voor een nog betere compatibiliteit en luchtretentie, om tegemoet te komen aan moderne velgontwerpen, inclusief hookless, ontwikkeld onder ETRTO- en ISO-normen.
