Met deze plugtester kunnen de lampen van het voertuig getest worden en gesynchroniseerd worden met de lampen van de aanhanger.
Eerst sluit je de tester aan op het stopcontact van de auto. Zet vervolgens de ontsteking aan en test alle functies met behulp van een tweede persoon. Als de stekker goed is uitgelijnd, licht de bijbehorende indicator op (bij het testen van de richtingaanwijzer zal het licht ook knipperen).
