Pure Probiotics 150gr

• For the correct balance in the intestinal flora and for healthy skin and coat during stress.
• Good intestinal bacteria lower acidity in the intestines and contribute to good food digestion through enzyme production.
• Probiotics produce short-chain fatty acids; a very important nutrient for intestinal cells.
• A good condition of the intestinal cells is necessary to prevent various unwanted microorganisms from entering the bloodstream through the intestinal wall.
• Complementary feed for ponies.

Dosage

• Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor/therapist; twice daily for the 1st week
• < 10 kg 1 scoop
• 10 - 25 kg 2 scoops
• 25 - 80 kg 3 scoops
• > 80 kg 5 scoops
• Reduce the dosage to once daily after the first week. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.
• The scoop in PURE Probiotics 50 grams contains approximately 0.5 grams. The scoop in PURE Probiotics 150 grams contains approximately 2.5 grams.
• If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day; once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dosage. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may be slightly delayed.
• Once improvement is observed, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. Initially, a higher dosage may be necessary; this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage upon improvement to the lowest possible dosage.

Composition:
Maltodextrin; corn starch; Fructo Oligo Saccharides (FOS) and bacterial cultures: Bifidobacterium lactis; Enterococcus faecium; Lactobacillus acidophilus; Lactobacillus paracasei; Lactobacillus plantarum; Lactobacillus salivarius and Lactococcus lactis.
1 gram of Pure Probiotic contains 1.0 billion CFU at the time of production.

Administration
Preferably dissolve powder in lukewarm water; let stand for fifteen minutes; stir and ingest/administer. Preferably on an empty stomach.

Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days. For chronic discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to take a break week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be reintroduced after the break week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.

Interaction and contraindications
Always use during pregnancy and lactation in consultation with the attending veterinarian.
To date, side effects of this product are not known or reported.

Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label and the box.
